Teddy has spent the last year gaining skills on the Freedom Concepts bike. He first tried it during our March intensive. The joy on his face from the first ride has never gone away. He continues to get some time riding at his weekly therapy sessions and he's tearing through the Children's Nebraska SPC lobby each week. He has gained strength throughout his lower extremities, work for his gait and hips and now working on steering and directional input. We spent months attempting to get his bike through our insurance, however despite a request and appeal, it's been denied. We have been working through some grant requests and the opportunity for the Great Bike Giveaway came around.
