Rowan has SLC13A5 Citrate Transporter Disorder, a rare neurological condition that affects his muscle control, coordination, and mobility. Because of this, he isn’t able to ride a typical bike. An adaptive bike would give him a safe way to participate in a childhood activity many kids take for granted, while also helping build strength, coordination, and independence.
