My 11 year old daughter who has autism loves to be on the move and active. She does not have the coordination and fine motor skills to use a regular bike. She uses an adaptive trike at school for her adaptive PE time and absolutely loves it. She will sometimes ride up to 18 laps! Movement is very calming to her, ever since she was a baby. It soothes her and she enjoys it so much. She is an elopement risk and would need someone to be right with her so the tandem bike for me to ride right along with her would be perfect for us! We would love to be able to get one of these bikes so she can remain active, have fun and stay healthy!
