We live in such a visual world with so much to do and watch on our phones, computer, and TVs. Josh struggles to find activities that hold his attention due to him having no vision. He loves riding bikes at school and even delivers mail to teachers around the school but this is made possible with an adaptive bike. Joshua is incapable of safely riding a bike independently due to his complete blindness. He is not able to see oncoming cars, where exactly he is at on the road, or when to stop.
