My daughter Paige was born with the rare genetic disorder STXBP-1, which is accompanied by epilepsy, ataxia, hypotonia and dystonia. Despite all her challenges, Paige is a lover of life! She loves children and socializing brings her so much joy. She is also non verbal and has developmental and intellectual delays which keep her from being able to fully engage with her peeps. She has to learn every skill from scratch which can take a long time. She also needs 1:1 support for her safety. Having a bike that will allow her to be safely included with her friends and family would be life changing and bring her so much joy.
