My son Nolan is nonspeaking with a diagnosis of severe Autism. He loves being outside and moving in his stroller or wagon. He has a lot of difficulty with fine motor skills and getting his body to do what his mind wants to do. Despite trying every kind of bike/tricycle/skateboard there is out there he has never been able to learn how to pedal without tremendous support. A tandem bike like this would allow us to take rides together and give him the opportunity to ride a bike just like his peers.
