My 7-year-old is autistic and struggles with balance, coordination, and sensory regulation, which makes riding a traditional bike very difficult. An adaptive bike would give them the chance to experience the same freedom and joy that other kids feel when riding. It would also help with their physical development, confidence, and provide important sensory input that helps them regulate their body. This bike would give them independence and allow our family to enjoy outdoor activities together.
