His rare genetic disorder is characterized by severe cognitive impairment, low muscle tone (hypotonia), developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and he is nonverbal. He also experiences sensory processing disorder, with a particular tendency toward sensory-seeking behaviors. He is unable to ride a bike on his own and is getting too big for the bike with bucket seat I take him out on. We occasionally tip over in turns.
