Kilian was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 3. He is now 5 years old. DMD is a rare terminal muscle wasting disease. To help maintian his strength he has physical therapy 3 days a week. His favorite day of the week is Wednesday because that's the day he gets to ride the rifton bike. Riding bike gives his so much joy. Kilian needs this bike to give him a chance at experiencing a typical childhood. Where he gets to ride bike with his siblings. Kilian won't always have this luxury in his life because as he gets older his muscles breakdown. He will eventually be in a wheelchair.
