At 15 days old Johnathan contracted Listeria Meningitis as he grew his brain swelled with water and was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus at 3 months old he has a VP Shunt installed in his brain to release the water from his brain. His fine and gross motor skills are not what they should be. We tried to teach him how to ride a bike but he could not understand how and they scared him. He was diagnosed at age 12 with autism. He sees his friends riding one and he wants to learn now.
