💜 Welcome & Thank You for Supporting Hiro 💜
Thank you for being here and for taking a moment to learn about my incredible son, Hiro.
Hiro lives with Dravet Syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that causes frequent, unpredictable seizures that are often resistant to medication. These seizures can be prolonged and exhausting for his body, and over time they impact his development, coordination, strength, and overall physical health. Hiro is also diagnosed with Autism, which affects his communication, sensory processing, and motor planning. Like many children with complex neurological conditions, he works hard every day to do things that come more easily to others.
Because of his diagnoses, Hiro experiences physical challenges including muscle weakness, fatigue, balance difficulties, and periods of regression following seizure activity. Movement and physical therapy are extremely important for helping him maintain strength, joint stability, circulation, and overall wellbeing.
We are raising funds to provide Hiro with an adaptive bike — a specially designed bicycle that offers the support, positioning, and safety he needs to ride successfully. This isn’t just a recreational item. For Hiro, it is:
✨ Physical therapy through movement
✨ Muscle strengthening and coordination support
✨ Sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
✨ Independence and confidence
✨ Inclusion — the chance to ride alongside other children
Every child deserves the joy of riding a bike, feeling the wind on their face, and experiencing freedom. An adaptive bike will give Hiro opportunities that his medical conditions have tried to take away.
Your support — whether through voting, donations, sharing this page, or simply cheering him on — truly makes a difference in his quality of life.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping Hiro move, grow, and experience childhood joy. 💙
Hiro has Dravet Syndrome. He has uncontrollable seizures and is also diagnosed with Autism. He needs an adaptive bike to give him the opportunity to ride bikes like any other child. This will also support him physically as he has physical deterioration due to his diagnosis.
