Hi! My name is Eliana, Ellie, Ellie belly, sissy! I am seven and in first grade. I was born 3 months early weighing 2lbs and got really sick when I was a baby in the hospital which caused me to have a brain injury. I need help sitting and standing and get lots of rides around in my wheelchair. I talk using an eye-gaze device. I love playing with my classmates, teachers, therapists, and 2 younger brothers. A bike would be fun to be able to play with them more. I also love going fast, but it is not safe to do in my wheelchair because the wheels cannot keep up on bumpy ground. I would love a bike to play with my bothers while they ride and to be able to go really fast!

Eliana has significant mobility deficits. She is unable to sit or stand without assistance and is not able to walk assisted or otherwise. She has two younger brothers and loves playing with them! A bike would allow her more opportunities to play and bond with them. She also loves to go fast in her wheelchair but the wheels are not safe for running and this would allow her to go fast safely.
