Our son’s genetic mutation has impacted his ability to walk independently and is wheelchair bound. We’re a military family currently stationed in Hawaii and almost everything is outside or has rough terrain. We have a manual wheelchair but it’s his only mode of transportation in school and we’re scared of impacting his wheelchair by trying to explore or even go on family walks. We’re currently stationed in Hawaii and almost everything is outside or has rough terrain.
