Without an adaptive bike I don’t think Kolben will ever have the chance to ride a bike normally. We want to be able to give him every chance we can to do all things boy! He would love to have this to stroll the neighborhood.
Kolben was born with Cohen syndrome. Cohen syndrome is a variable genetic disorder characterized by diminished muscle tone (hypotonia), abnormalities of the head, face, hands and feet, eye abnormalities, and non-progressive intellectual disability. Our boy is non-verbal but is able to communicate in different ways things with us that he enjoys. He loves being outdoors and having the wind blowing in his face. He reaches towards the sky and just takes it all in. He loves to swing and he loves all things water. He would really love this bike.
