I am entering this contest and starting this fundraiser to help my daughter get an adaptive bike — something that may seem simple to many, but would mean the world to her.

My sweet girl has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, which affects all four of her limbs and makes independent movement very challenging. An adaptive bike would give her something every child deserves: the chance to feel the wind on her face, the joy of movement, and the freedom to ride alongside family and friends.

This bike isn’t just equipment — it’s therapy, independence, confidence, and inclusion. It will help strengthen her muscles, support her physical development, and most importantly, allow her to fully participate in moments that many of us take for granted.

Arianna is a nine year-old child with Spastic Quadriplegic CP. In addition to aiding in inclusion, so that she can participate in activities with other children her age, and adaptive bike will also help improve her gross motor skills, coordination, and strengthen her muscles. Having fun and working out at the same time is a great way for a child like her, who will receive therapy for the rest of her life. An adaptive bike is not just a toy, it is a tool for kids like Ari.
