Our daughter has right-sided hemiplegic cerebral palsy, which affects the strength and coordination on the right side of her body. She wears an AFO brace and works very hard in therapy to build strength and balance. A standard bicycle does not provide the support she needs to pedal safely, but an adaptive tricycle would help her strengthen her muscles, improve coordination, and experience the joy and independence of riding a bike like other children.
