I am a special education teacher at an elementary school. I teach students who have significant support needs, three of which use wheelchairs and have limited movement in their arms and legs. Every year our school has a bike unit as part of their curriculum. During this time these students unfortunately cannot access the bikes that the school provides. Having an adapted bike for the program I teach would allow all these students to participate and feel included with their same age peers.
