Fundraising for Maisie T's Rifton Medium

Maisie was diagnosed with RORA-Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder, a condition that impacts her motor skills and core strength. Because of this, Maisie does not currently have the core stability needed to pedal a traditional bike, and balance challenges make riding a standard bicycle unsafe for her.

Like any child, Maisie wants to experience the joy, independence, and freedom that comes with riding a bike — keeping up with friends, exploring outdoors, and simply feeling included in a childhood milestone many of us take for granted.

An adaptive bike is specially designed to provide the support, stability, and safety she needs so she can ride confidently and successfully. This bike would not only support her physical development by strengthening muscles and coordination, but also give her greater independence, confidence, and opportunities to participate alongside her peers.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, encouragement, and for being part of Maisie’s journey. Every share, donation, and kind word helps bring her one step closer to riding her own bike.

Thank you for helping make this possible for Maisie. 💛

Maisie lacks the core strength needed to pedal a traditional bike. She also has balance issues that make being on a traditional bike more dangerous.
