Our sweet son, Dean is unable to ride a bike independently due to motor and intellectual disabilities, but at 10 years old he is far too big for any of the adult assisted trike options we used to use when he was a child. He’s also too heavy for many typical bike accessories meant to carry children. Because of this, not only does he not get to experience a sensory and motor activity we think he would LOVE, but our family of 6 will not ever get the opportunity for family bike riding unless we can obtain an adapted option for him.
