My son is 8, he is Autistic and has a micro-deletion of 15q11.2. He has a hard time on a regular bike due to anxiety, focus, low tone, and motor skills. He has never mastered it. Getting a tandem bike would get both he and I out for exercise along with allowing him to enjoy bike riding without the massive amounts of stress it puts on him to try to ride alone.
