Adelina has hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and cerebral palsy (CP), which affect her strength, coordination, and mobility. She has outgrown the adaptive bike she uses in therapy but is able to actively pedal and greatly benefits from it. A properly sized Rifton bike will support her posture and alignment, promote muscle strength and endurance, and encourage reciprocal leg movement important for her development. She loves being outside, and having a bike that fits her will keep her safe.
