Emily was born 3 months premature and was diagnosed with Kleefstra Syndrome (chromosomal -9q) and an unnamed (chromosomal +15q). Some of her symptoms are: severe intellectual disabilities (~ 1 yr old), developmental & speech delays, hypotonia, bicuspid aortic valve, history of seizures & pneumonia, large protruding tongue, social interaction challenges, repetitive behaviors, severe apathy & catatonic like behaviors, obesity, sleep disorders, psychiatric issues, autism, anxiety & behavior issues.
