Alex loves to be outdoors. He loves to watch trees and leaves and nature. He is nonverbal and although he cannot tell me the joy he’s experiencing, the smile on his face will definitely give it away. Being outdoors soothes him even in his worst days. It would mean a lot to me to be able to ride him around the neighborhood and have him experience what “normal” children get to experience. Alex is developmentally frozen at about 12 months old and may not ever understand how to fully pedal.
