Evelyn was born via emergency C-section and was born without a heartbeat, she was diagnosed with HIE, CVI, global developmental delays and was not expected to talk or walk. Seizures began Oct. 2018. She has refractory epilepsy and LGS. She has a wheelchair, but started taking independent steps in Feb. 2024. She demonstrates low muscle tone in her trunk, uncoordinated movements, and is non-verbal. Evelyn is full of joy and would love to ride bikes with her siblings!
