Our daughter Caroline is 11 years old. She is legally blind and was diagnosed when she was 8 years old with Stargardt's disease, which is a juvenile form of progressive macular degeneration. We have no idea what the extent of her vision loss will be. She will lose her central vision but will maintain peripheral vision. Glasses cannot correct the vision she does have.

Receiving a bike for Caroline would be so great. Her vision is presently at 20/150-20/200 and riding a bike can be challenging. This side-by-side bike would enable her to ride safely with someone and not worry about traffic. She is so excited to have the opportunity to be independent and enjoy the outdoors with family.
