Archer is a child that loves to be outside enjoying all the elements no matter the temperature. Each week at PT he requests to ride the bike and will negotiate in order to ride, “just a little bit”. As a 12 yo he is learning to use his white cane to gain independent walking abilities. A bike will give him vast access to explore further distances, rather than sitting in one spot. A bike will open opportunities for him to social engage with peers and other family members and friends.
