My child would love to ride a bike along side her twin sister who is typical. Due to her brain abnormality, mastering pedaling doesn't come very easy but with some practice in PT she was getting the hang of it before covid.This is a child who we were told she would probably never walk a day in her life. Finally at 4 years old she started sitting, then walking with assistance @ 5 . She is a growing 14yr old who faces many challenges in life but the ability to ride with her friends would bring her so much joy and some independence.
