Journey has Ds and Autism. This causes her to have low muscle tone and processing delays. She hasn’t grasped the concept of steering and peddling yet. And keeping her feet on the pedals is difficult as well.
I’ve been able to use a tricycle with a parent guide bar, but she’s grown out of all the “typical” tricycles available in the store.
She loves to be outside, but walking long distances tires her. So, I’ve resorted to an oversized stroller. I want her to be able to ride a bike like others.
