Fundraising for Jailynn L's Freedom Concepts Tandem

Jailynn is a sweet 13 year old girl that has cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and several other challenges due to having half of her brain removed at age 2 (a right hemispheretomy) She is very limited on activities and exercises that she is physically able to due. She is unable to jump or climb. Riding an adaptive bike is something she enjoys and can actually do. She frequently ask for a bike ride but is unable to take one. I would love for her to be able to get a bike to ride outside with her brother and sister.

Thank you for your votes and/or donations 💗💗💗💗💗

We have received some really generous donations. We’ve raised 23% of the cost of the bike! We have to reach a least 50% or more to have a chance to get it. 100% guarantees us the bike. But over 50% and we have a chance the Great Bike Giveaway will use their funds to help as many children as they can that raised more than 50%

I was just thinking about it being February.... 11 years ago.... On February 5, 2009 Jailynn had a hemispherectomy, a surgery to remove the right side of her brain at John Hopkins Hospital. This surgery was to try to stop her intractable seizures. She had a seizure in 2010 when she had a 105 degree fever and then in 2011 seizures plaugued her for months following her chicken pox booster vaccine. She had more testing and we started to schedule a second surgery. I asked for a medication change and her seizures stopped! September of this year will be 9 years seizure free. She has gone through so much and come a long way. It was a very scary decision to make but surgery really changed Jailynn’s life.
