We're entering Brookey in the Great Bike Giveaway in hopes to preserve our family bike rides we've come to cherish so much! We were blessed with a bike trailer that has been SO wonderful to have so we can go on family bike rides. Brooke is outgrowing that trailer though, and she's also been showing an interest in being outside more and being mobile! Between her vision, low muscle tone and sensory processing; she needs support a typical bike doesn't offer. We would so very much appreciate if you would please not only vote for her, but share on your page and ask for votes!
Our daughter was learning how to pedal a tricycle when she was in developmental preschool. Her physical therapist let us know at that time that an adaptive bike would probably be the best way (if not the only way) she'd be able to ride a bike (between her vision, low muscle tone and sensory processing disorder, she needs that support a regular bike doesn't give). We LOVE going for bike rides as a family, right now she's in the bike trailer, but she will outgrow that at some point.
